The Moais team from INRIA Rhône-Alpes, a team of 9 permanent members from INRIA and Universities of Grenoble, focuses on adaptive parallel algorithms, parallel code coupling, distributed programming environments and interactive parallel computing (http://moais.imag.fr).

The LIMSI (Laboratoire d’Informatique pour la Mécanique et les Sciences de l’Ingénieur) is a CNRS laboratory, which carries out multidisciplinary research in mechanics and chemical engineering, in addition to information and communication science and technology.

Research at the Laboratoire de Biochimie Théorique (denoted LBT) concerns simulations of biological macromolecules, by developing and applying molecular modelling algorithms.

Marc Baaden is a CNRS researcher in physical chemistry at the LBT group in Paris. Since 2004, he leads a team focusing on interdisciplinary work at the interfaces of chemistry with both biology and computer science.

The laboratory Conditions Extrêmes et Matériaux: Haute Température et Irradiation (CEMTHI, UPR3079-CNRS) is a research laboratory of the Insitute of Chemistry (INC) of CNRS settled in Orleans in contract with the University of Orléans. It hosts two national facilities for High Resolution Solid-State and High Temperature NMR

In short, the proposed work could not be accomplished on a timely basis by either laboratory alone. Together, these five teams have the required skills and experiences of collaborations to successfully complete this project.
